The existence of groundwater in coastal areas really needs attention because its vulnerability to sea water intrusion. Utilization and good management are needed maintain sustainability. purpose this research is determine the aquifer system study area calculate potency. determined by processing geoelectric sounding data using Rockworks 16 software. Groundwater potency calculated a static approach. safe yield multiplying fluctuation, village specific yield. Water requirement base on domestic, livestock tourism requirement. results showed that Kretek District had two units, namely fluvio marin plains sand dunes. In plains, most constituent material with clay as inserts, while unit dune has form unconsolidated originating from Merapi Volcano. 234,448,0000 m 3 /year 11,772,400 /year. With for 555,044 /year, still sufficient. However, it recommended well drilling does not exceed depth 40 meters, at several locations there been detected an interface. addition, were also connate ancient marines during deposition process past.
